Adding Texture by Mastering Accretion Discover the beauty of Encaustic Layering using Accretion to create stunning textural effects. I love me some TEXTURE- and Encaustic is the perfect medium to explore adding rich depth to your painting. This class provides a basic understanding of encaustic technique setting up a base under layer with photographic collage. Create texture with encaustic medium and encaustic paint by using the accretion technique. Finally adding stunning color height lights with oil bar paint sticks. Encaustic is an ancient method of combining bees wax and damar varnish to create hauntingly beautiful translucent paintings and art. It has resurfaced across the globe with new approaches, visions, and methods. It is an incredibly diverse medium which lends itself to a multitude of creative ideas. Class Time: 2-5pm, February 16th Cost $90 ($30 towards supplies) Size: limited to 6 students 6:30-830 PM

Cancellation Policy
We understand that sometimes things come up after you've registered for a class. Please understand that once a class is set to run, materials have been purchased in preparation and that minimums need to be maintained to run classes. Our canellation policy for classes is as follows: Registrants cancelling for a class more than 14 days in advance are given a 100% Refund or credit for a future class. 8-13 days in advance provides a 100% credit for a future class, but no refunds. 3-7 days in advance provides a 50% credit towards a future class. Those cancelling within 48 hours of a class, or who fail to show up for a class forfeit their tuition fee.
