The 4th Annual Art of Darkness

October Events Calendar

This year may not be business as usual for anyone, but the Art of Darkness is entering its fourth year in grand creepy fashion nonetheless. We had a record number of submissions this year, spanning entries from 6 states nationwide!

This show is usually our most popular gallery opening event all year, and we understood early on that we couldn't run things as we normally do. Our solution? Open up for multiple days of celebrations, costume contests, a ticketed gallery opening,a live streamed awards ceremony, and hand out candy to gallery visitors! (All with C19 protocols in place)

We'll have four opportunities for you to come in and participate in the spooky fun and a costume contest. Come with family or friends!

Dates:

Saturday, October 17th from 2:15-6:00

Saturday, October 24th from 2:15-6:00

Thursday, October 29th from 6-9 (Gallery Opening. Free timed tickets available here while they last. First come, first served. Awards Ceremony will live stream at 8PM EST on FB from the HeARTspot Page)

and

Saturday, October 31st from 11-3

Come in costume, get some candy, and take your pic in front of some wonderfully creepy art. You'll get a free entry for tagging us on social media and will be eligible for 1 of 2 prizes.

One lucky random costumed visitor will win a $50 gift card good towards a future class at the art center or it can be used in the gift shop or towards an art purchase from the show.

There will also be a $50 award for Best Costume for a visitor who participates in one of the dates above.

We'll announce the Costume Contest winners on HALLOWEEN on our social media just before the sun goes down...

So although we won't be able to celebrate Halloween in our traditional ways, The Art of Darkness Show can provide you and your family with some free holiday fun that will make things feel a little more normal in this crazy year.
