CALL FOR KIDS’ ART! 🎨👻
1st Annual Kid's Art of Darkness
For the first time, Art of Darkness is making room especially for our young artists! We’re excited to announce our 1st Annual Kids’ Art Exhibition, with artwork displayed in the HeARTspot classroom during Art of Darkness.
The call is open to ALL artists in grades 1–8 — whether they’ve taken classes at HeARTspot before or have never stepped through our doors!
There is NO FEE to participate, and kids may offer their artwork for sale with NO gallery commission! Space is limited, however, and work will be accepted first come, first served until the kids’ exhibition is full.
🎨 WHAT CAN I SUBMIT?
Each child may submit ONE original work of art.
2D artwork: No larger than 11" × 14". Work does not need to be framed or ready to hang — we’ll take care of displaying it using Blu Tack or tape.
3D artwork: Absolutely! Please keep it small enough to sit safely on our display ledge, which extends 4" from the wall, and no taller than approximately 6–7".
Artwork can explore Halloween, spooky, dark, fantasy, or imaginative themes — have fun with it! We simply ask that submissions be appropriate for a family-friendly setting and our Halloween gallery exhibition.
🏷️ PLEASE LABEL YOUR ARTWORK
Please securely attach the following information to the back or bottom of the artwork:
Child’s name • Grade • Artwork title • Parent/guardian contact information
