Saturday Elementary Art (Fall 1)

Service Description

This Saturday Art Class is for students in Grades 1-5. Classes will run from Sept. 19- Oct. 10 Groups will not exceed eight students. Students will be exposed to skills such as but not limited to drawing, painting, and sculpture. There is no prerequisite for these sessions. The instructor Jennifer Gillooly Cahoon (or Miss Jen) has nearly 30 years of classroom teaching experience and holds degrees in art, art education, and special education. If your child has special needs, please reach out prior to enrolling your student so we can make sure we are equipped to provide all your child deserves. HeARTspot is conveniently located on Pawtucket Avenue in East Providence, right off of 195 with plenty of free, off-street parking. The five class session is $120, including all materials. At least 3 students must be registered to run the class. Should a need arise to cancel a class either: 1) time will be added to future classes to compensate, or 2) a session will be added if the calendar allows. (Please note that photographs are taken during classes and may be shared on HeARTspot’s social media or used to promote our programs. Parents/guardians may opt out of having their child’s face photographed; artwork and classroom activities may still be photographed without identifying the child. There is an area of the form you can check off noting you are aware of the practice and to opt out if desired. Kindly tell the instructor on the first day if you are opting out as well. Thank you!)
